The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra has selected five finalists in the search for the orchestra's next Music Director. UALR Public Radio's Ann Nicholson interviewed each of the finalists on Arts Scene.

George Hanson - Currently Music Director and Conductor of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. Has appeared with nearly 90 symphony orchestras and opera companies in 19 countries. Previously served as Associate Conductor of the Atlanta Symphony, assisted Kurt Masur at the New York Philharmonic and was Music Director of the Anchorage Symphony
