 Laurie Pierce Development Assistant Laurie Pierce joined the staff in September 2006 as an underwriter and development assistant. She comes from a journalism background with 13 years newsroom experience at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and a short stint as an information officer at the Arkansas Forestry Commission. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Laurie calls herself "a Texan who married a Pine Bluff boy." She and her husband Ray, an attorney practicing in Little Rock, are the parents of J.Richard, a seventh-grader at LISA Academy, and Robert, a first-grader at Terry Elementary. Laurie is a Pulaski County Master Gardener and a Sunday School teacher at St. Thomas’ Church in Little Rock. |
