What is The Arkansas Flyer?

The Arkansas Flyer is a radio variety show produced with support from the Department of Arkansas Heritage. It features various Arkansans and focuses on Arkansas music, humor and culture. Such a program had been brewing in the minds of General Manager Ben Fry and KUAR Program Director Ron Breeding for several years. Thanks to a Heritage Month Grant, the show finally became a reality. It was taped in front of a live audience on May 11. KUAR hopes to obtain more grants to keep producing shows like The Arkansas Flyer. (If you know of any interested sponsors, please let us know!)
