Arkansas Cooks savors the taste of Arkansas cuisine through recipes, interviews and food news with host Mary Twedt. Saturdays at noon on FM 89.

Arkansas Week is a weekly analysis of current events produced by the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN). Hosted by veteran journalist Steve Barnes and a distinguished group of Arkansas journalists, Arkansas Week airs on KUAR each Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m.

Arkansongs examines the music and musicians that have made our state great with host Stephen Koch. Fridays at 6:40 a.m. & 6:20 p.m. on FM 89.

Here's To Your Health reports on health and medical news produced by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, hosted by Dr. T. Glenn Pait. Weekdays at 7:37 a.m., 12:19 p.m. and 4:47 p.m. on FM 89.

Picture This, Art & Your Imagination is a series of audio essays by UALR Art Department Gallery Director Brad Cushman. Cushman talks about various art issues, from architecture, to photography.

Science Cafe airs the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:05 p.m. and serves as a sneak peek of the Science Cafe Little Rock event occuring right after the program. The show is hosted by Dorothy Miles, a research associate with the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Research Institute at UAMS.

Speaking Volumes is a series of audio essays by Zabelle Stodola, Ph.D., Professor of English at UALR.  Airs at various times on FM 89 and Classical 90.5.

Stories of the Community is produced in conjunction with the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, which is an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage. The 1-minute vignettes feature the history and culture of Little Rock's African-American community.  The vignettes air at various times each day on both FM 89 and Classical 90.5.

Studio Joe features local, regional, and national artists and is recorded live on stage at the Studio Joe recording facilities in Little Rock. It airs Saturday nights at 8 p.m.

Talk Business with Roby Brock airs Mondays at 6:06 p.m. and focuses on Arkansas business news, as well as politics and public affairs. Brock also wraps up the week's business news with the "Talk Business Update" on Fridays at 4:45 p.m.


Tales from the South
features true stories told by the people who lived them and showcases Arkansans.  Contributors are from all walks of life and include professional writers as well as those who have never been published. The program airs the 4th Thursday of every month at 7 p.m.

UALR Agents of Change is a series of features highlighting how UALR faculty are making a difference in our community, as well as their important professional achievements. Airs daily at various times on FM 89.

Weekend Arts Update is a weekly listing of performances and exhibits scheduled around Arkansas for the weekend with Ann Nicholson. Fridays at 7:49 a.m. on FM 89.

Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow offers perspectives on our world through the views of three different generations. First and third Tuesdays of the month at 6:05 p.m. on FM 89.
